Selected non-staple agri-food prices – 24th week of 2015

Pork and egg prices rise slightly while beef and mutton prices remain the same with slight drop

 

According to MOA's Agri-product Wholesale Market Information Network, the Nationwide Agri-product Wholesale Price Index for the 24th week of 2015 (June 15-21, 2015) is 204.07 (year 2000=100), increasing by 1.12 points from the previous week. The Nationwide Non-staple Agri-food Wholesale Price Index is 205.43, increasing by 1.27 points from the previous week. The trade volume of 60 items in 50 intensively monitored wholesale markets is 606,400 tons, decreasing by 1.9% from the previous week.

2.   Out of the 28 intensively monitored vegetables, 15 witnessed price increase, 10 saw price drop, and 3 remained the same with the previous week.

3.   The change of the price was within 5%.
