Ban on Dutch poultry to South Korea lifted
An outbreak of avian influenza in Europe last year had prompted South Korea to suspend poultry imports from the Netherlands, the country's fifth biggest meat supplier.
However, with no more fresh outbreaks reported, the six-month ban was recently abrogated, according to the South Korean agriculture ministry.
Imports are expected to resume by July once there are no differing opinions from relevant agencies.
In early 2015, South Korea had also end suspensions on poultry imports from Australia and the UK.
