He began his career working with Caterpillar, Inc.Dedicated to the industry in which he works, Griffin maintains active advisory roles on several agriculture industry-related boards, including Purdue University School of Agriculture Large Commercial Producer Board, the University Of Georgia College Of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences Dean's Advisory Council, and he is a member of the Executive Steering Committee for AgriNovis Indiana. He has also served on the National FFA Foundation Sponsors Board, and is a National Malcolm Baldrige Fellow.
