Bussan Biotech renamed as Lallemand-Biotech
Lallemand Animal Nutrition has announced that Bussan Biotech Co. Ltd, one of Japan's leading distributors of functional feed additives,has changed its name to Lallemand-Biotech Co. Ltd. effective August 1, 2015.
Tim Pollock, director of operations and strategic development for Lallemand Animal Nutrition said, "The change of name of Bussan-Biotech to Lallemand-Biotech better reflects the new ownership structure of the business following the acquisition by Lallemand Animal Nutrition on 27th March 2015 of 75% of Bussan-Biotech's share capital".
Lallemand Animal Nutrition is a Canadian firm that develops, manufactures and markets high-value yeast and bacteria products-including probiotics, silage inoculants and yeast derivatives─aimed at optimizing animal performance and well-being.
