Cargill's Provimi strengthens Asia poultry team
Ricardo Ito has been appointed Regional Poultry Technology Application Lead for Cargill's Provimi Southeast Asia business, while Inês Rodrigues joins Cargill's Provimi team as Regional Technology Lead for Poultry, supporting its Asia businesses.
Ricardo will lead poultry technology deployment and application initiatives within the region. He will be responsible for building and strengthening regional poultry species capabilities, and delivering technical solutions to customers.
Ricardo graduated in the field of veterinary medicine from the Universidade Federal de Viçosa in Brazil and specialised in animal nutrition from the School of Veterinary Medicine of University of Sao Paulo (Brazil). Ricardo has over 28 years of industry experience in Latin America prior to relocating to Malaysia.
Inês will liaise with both the Global Cargill Provimi Technology team and the Regional Application team to enhance Provimi's commercial growth on poultry solutions and services.
Inês has a master's degree in animal science and has close to ten years of industry experience. She has authored several book chapters, scientific peer-reviewed papers, and dozens of industry-related articles specifically focussed on additives.
