China methionine market softens on slack demand
Prices of methionine moved lower during the week ending October 12.
As feed millers have stocked ample supplies of methionine before the long holidays, trade was slow after the market resumed trading.
For liquid methionine, price quotes were in the range of RM25.50-26.50/kg.
Methionine prices are poised to move lower with supplies plentiful and demand slack.
