South Korean poultry now allowed to enter Hong Kong
South Korea's poultry meat is now permitted to enter Hong Kong following close to two years of suspension due to an avian influenza (AI) outbreak in the former.
On February 28, South Korea has its bird flu-free status reinstated, a development that would allow it to export fresh poultry products once more.
"We will do our best to prevent recurrence of AI so that our poultry exports to Hong Kong can continue," the South Korean agriculture ministry said.
