Inadequate lysine supply, improved demand lift prices in China
Lysine prices moved higher during the week ending January 19.
Supplies of lysine stayed tight in China as several producers limited output.
Price quotes of 98.5-percent lysine were higher in the range of RMB8.50-9.50/kg.
Lysine market is expected to stay firm in the near term while feed millers continue to accumulate stocks.
