Improved demand strengthens China methionine prices
   

   


Prices of methionine moved higher during the week ending April 18.

   


Feed millers continued to stock depleted inventories, helping to support the price hikes of methionine producers.

   

   

Price quotes of imported dl-methionine were higher in the range of RMB28.50-29/kg, up by RMB0.20-1/kg.

   

   

As feed millers maintain production sales of methionine are poised to stay stable.
